Tauba Auerbach: [2,3]

Screen Shot 2016-04-28 at 1.13.54 PM

I’m continually inspired by the way Tauba Auerbach translates physics, creating illusions and perceptions of space through the use of multi-dimensional planes.  Her latest work is the epitome of a 3d coffee table book, composed from six die-cut paper sculptures that act as the book’s pages. [2,3] was published in collaboration with Printed Matter, Inc. and is limited to 1000 copies.. sooo if you’re able to get your hands on one, bring it to my office!

Director Sam Fleischner caught the aural experience of leafing through the weighty tome in the film below, featured on NOWNESS.
